to know and love the
Lord in November of
1982 at FirstBaptistChurch
in SalemOregon,
and was Baptised there
also.
She
is
survived
by
her
husband
Edgar
Fast,
children
Lola
Fast,
Joe
and
Tanya
Fast
and Rachel and
Matt Brand; and her
grandchildren Trevin, Cody,
Chad,
Madison, Dylan and
Audriauna; parents
George and Lola Walmer,
her sister’s Donna
Gonsalves and
Cristy Whitney and all
of her grandchildren at
GrantCommunitySchool
She
raised
and
loved
riding
horses
as
a
teen.
She
had
many
different
jobs
during her life; she
worked at Newberry’s,
for the State of Oregon,
several different Title
Companies, Americold,
Sonshine School First
Baptist , Grant
Community School, she
worked in the Awana
program for several
years always working
with the 3 & 4 year
olds in the Cubbie
program;
and spent 10 years doing
Sunday school at
Dayspring church.
She loved
and cared for all of her
grandchildren biological
or not. As a seraget
daughter said; Never a
child walked by that she
didn’t bring in to feed
and shelter with her love
and kindness.
I am
also involved with the AWANA
club. I have been involved
with AWANA`S
for the last 18
year's. I
am now doing Awana's at
First Baptist Church in
Salem, and I prepare the
crafts
for the Cubbie's.
I
started an Awana Cubbie's
program at Grace Baptist
Church in Dallas, Oregon.
I
also like to sew and make
baby blanket's and Quilts,
and I`m involved in teaching
Sunday
School.
I also work at Grant
Community School in Salem,
Oregon.
I
enjoy showing the children
at the public school the
Love of Jesus
Christ by the way I
talk,
share
and
act
around
them.
The
children pick-up on the
waves sent out to them and
will sometimes bring up the
Lord with
questions
that are fun and I
love to answer.
I have been given the gift
of making
and
teaching kids how make
any different crafts.
